Called into Pharmacy 4 hours after doctors visit to check on status of prescription, associate stated they have not ran the script because our insurance is no longer contracted with Walgreens. Instructed them to fill the prescription and I would pay out of pocket, was advised it would be ready in 15 minutes. Drove 1/2 hour to pharmacy to pick up script, was then told the pharmacy does not have the medication in stock, asked them what could be done? They advised I drive around to other pharmacies, Safeway, rite-aid, etc., to find the medication and have whom ever has it call the pharmacy to fax over the script. Asked them if they could call other Walgreens in the area to help find the medication so it would be easier to transfer script. Pharmacist was reluctant to help, took 10 minutes of negotiation, found medication at Walgreens in the valley and had to drive another 30 mins further out of the way.

I've been going to this Walgreens since about 2005. They have had the same pharmacist for most of that time, and he's great. The neighborhood around the store has slowly turned into a complete disaster though, and covid was the tipping point. The area looks like if the inside of a dumpster was an entire city block. I have been hassled going in and out of the store for cigs, lighters, money, shampoo, anything you can think of. I've had vagrants follow me to see if I filled a prescription worth stealing. I feel bad for the store because the area used to be pretty nice. Now it looks like a bad Skid Row documentary. Also be prepared to wait at least 45 minutes during peak hours because they are massively understaffed during covid, and all it takes is one goober customer complaining about 10 cents to hold up the entire store

This pharmacy is by far the worst pharmacy I have ever been to!!! Slow drive thru- look at you with a blank spaced out look on their face when you’re picking up your medicine!! Worse yet try going to your schedule appointment for your Covid booster, they were so confused on what was going on!! The tall skinny guy ran from computer to window forgetting what he was doing!!!! He was clueless where and what his job was!!! Waited over 45 minutes to get booster! Go to rite aid if you’re able to get an appointment!!! Much more organized and friendly!!!

Had an online order for pickup, but had to wait twenty minutes off to the aide while they tried to find someone to help me and then they helped everyone else in line who had arrived in the store after me. I think its mostly just a poorly designed online pickup system; the employees were very friendly, but weren't really paying attention to the flow of traffic - so to speak.
