Tyler is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and kind. He went above and beyond my expectations, coming out at a time that accommodated my schedule and providing comprehensive service at fair rate. If you need anything done with your chimney, I highly recommend giving Evergreen Chimney Sweep a call.

Luke did a wonderful explaining the repairs we needed to our chimney. Rachel or Hotonah were very kind on the phone. Luke and Tylor did an amazing job on the repairs. We are very pleased with their work and the experience we had with Evergreen Chimney.

Luke Bardwell did a phenomenal job. He was fast efficient and extremely polite. He explained everything he did while he did it as well as made sure I fully understood everything before I signed the report. I would 100% recommend Evergreen Chimney especially Luke to my friends and family should they need and services done.

Tyler and Luke were friendly, courteous, and did a fine job of cleaning our dryer vent and chimney. Plus they used drop cloths and there’s no mess. Seeing the before and after pictures… Wow! It’s a wonder we hadn’t had a fire the pipe was so clogged with lint. I expect clothes will dry a lot faster now. Our fireplace is cleaner than it’s been in years too. They even got the baked-on soot off the firebox door that wouldn’t budge when I’d scrubbed and scrubbed. We’ll definitely have them back before we let things get in such bad shape again. As an added bonus, Rachel who answers the phone and makes appointments is delightful.

Our typical appointment takes one hour on average. This can vary depending on roof access, the type of wood stove or fireplace and the amount of creosote. Unforeseen conditions inside the chimney can make this take longer, sometimes up to two hours. This is rare and we let you know in advance before proceeding if extra time is needed. The safety of you and your home is our top priority so we will not rush through a job.
One a year. We recommend an annual inspection of the chimney and fireplace or wood stove. Plan on having the chimney swept every year after the heating season. It’s important to make sure your chimney is free of obstruction and in working condition before the cold weather arrives. If you can’t remember the last time you’ve swept your chimney, it’s definitely time.
Chimneys should be cleaned no later than early fall, before fire burning season. Preferably in the spring, after the heating season is over. Remove the acidic creosote and ash early and avoid the autumn busy season. Don’t wait until the heating season has already started in Spokane to take care of your chimney. The spring cleaning allows plenty of time and more options to take care of any repairs. When the cold weather arrives your fireplace or wood stove is ready to use.
