We held a surprise dinner for my daughter and the staff went out of their way to make it a perfect celebration. The food was amazing and the service was the best I've ever had anywhere. The entire experience was wonderful! A special thanks to Jake and Tommy, our servers! These young men are top notch!

The food is decent but its definitely overpriced. You're paying more for the ambiance as it’s a cute and romantic spot but you typically can’t enjoy that because more often than not it's loud and crowded. The service was really good, awesome about keeping our glasses full! Walt’s Champaign salad is amazing and of course the croissants are a dream. Suggest off peak hours for an optimal experience.

Never fails, always a great time here. Food never disappoints and the service stays good even when it’s a packed house. Thank you for the meals over the years. Side note, if you read these, please upgrade the faucets in the restrooms, you’re better than this (picture for reference).

French dip: cooked fairly well, not chewy at all. Aju sauce wasn't fully tasteful kind of bland and didn't compliment the meal. Potatoes on point as usual. Tenderloin: not the greatest. Gave a bad piece of meat, wasn't tenderized at all which made it very hard to eat.

Charlestons is closed only two days a year. Thanksgiving and Christmas day.

We are looking for place to have a rehearsal supper. Do you have space available for 60 people?

Charleston's doesn't have the capacity with other customers to probably handle that. My suggestions would try Johnny's Italian Steakhouse out of Village Pointe. The Upstream downtown would be a great place because you could probably rent out the whole upstairs and there's plenty of room.. you could try Charleston's neighbor...Stokes. They typically aren't that busy and that's a very big place that is the building to the east that used to be Biaggis.

Would you describe this restaurant as kid friendly? Do they have high chairs and/or kids menus?

Just checked the menu on their website! No kids menu. It is a dimly lit restaurant that is for a romantic/ warm cozy atmosphere. Not really a kids friendly type of restaurant.
