I met a few friends here for dinner while visiting NYC after moving to a different state. I hadn't been here in a while and was happy to see it was still fabulous looking, if not better, then the last time i was there. Our dinner was excellent and the service was professional but also warm and inviting. We shared a few appitizers (mac and cheese was divine) which were all good. I ordered The Bar Room Burger which was cooked perfectly and was so delicious. My friends ordered the Fish and Chips (crispy light and very good) and The Wild Mushroom Risotto (which has just the right amount of truffle). Let me add my Martini was A+ So happy this place still has it and I am looking forward to returning on my next trip back. BTW the location is great, as well.

Average. I came here just for drinks with a group of girl friends. The drinks were basic fare and overpriced. The average drink was $16-17, and my Moscow Mule was mostly ice. The service left something to be desired. I'm aware my friends and I look much younger than our ages, but as soon as our group entered and sat down, our waiter walked up to the table without a greeting, asserted that he assumed we all wanted drinks, and requested IDs from the entire table. He then grabbed a tea light from the table and scrutinized each ID for some time. I understand the need to be careful and I'm certainly supportive of carding, but there's a way to do it without being condescending towards your guests. I didn't see any other tables carded the entire time we were there. The service was mostly inattentive. We were there for quite a while and didn't feel rushed, which was nice, but we had to chase down our waiter for the bill. The ambiance was nice and it's a lovely space, albeit a bit loud on a Thursday night. We also didn't have reservations and were seated quickly, which we greatly appreciated. I don't think we'll be going back.

I went here for dinner and was not disappointed at all. For appetizers we had the duck along with the mac and cheese, both were delicious. The tuna was cooked to perfection and the sides were immaculate. The server was very attentive and personable. Please go! And try the duck!😉

This is a good mix of bar and restaurant. The food was very good. The duck wings ate a must try. Delicious! Nachos were excellent as well. Also, the burgers are incredible. My son had it and it was excellent. All the food portions are of good size. Our waitress was actually a bartender filling in for someone sick. She was awesome. Made us drinks and gave great food recommendations. I had kale salad with salmon that was okay. Salmon could have been seasoned better. The only reason I didn't taste a 5. Definitely a place worth visiting!
