Such a cool place! It was our first time and we had no idea what we were doing. The experience was quite fun, the food was delicious and it was a great way to spend an evening. It would have been nice of the staff gave us a rundown when we arrived on how the whole process worked but we figured it out and enjoyed ourselves!

We've always loved the entire "cinema restaurant" industry, having first discovered it in 1995 in Denver Colorado. Since then, we've lived all over the country & have sought out these types of establishments. Smitty's is a very well executed small local chain of movie theaters that provide full restaurant menus & service. Sure, you can still get your popcorn & candy that you're used to at any theater's concessions, but I am much more satisfied getting a full lunch or dinner, ordered, served & eaten right at my seat inside the theater. Smitty's specializes in "comfort foods" ~ burgers, sandwiches, pizza, etc - and also offers "adult beverages" which is a great enticement for that person in your life that might need extra convincing! Ticket prices are cheaper than the regular movie theater because these places make their money on the food & I'm not gonna lie -- it's a little more expensive for a hamburger here, but you're paying for the convenience of "dinner & a movie" in one stop. Look, I'm a huge fan. Maybe it's not for everyone (though I can't imagine why) but I will always choose a restaurant movie theater any day over just a movie theater. Everyone in my family loves it, my nieces & nephews love it, and I most definitely love it! And if you're wondering.... The seats are very comfortable & you have a choice between sitting at tables on the floor portion of the theater or at elevated counters in the back. The servers here are real pros at understanding timing & getting your orders, your food, your check & your change all sorted within the movie's time frame. If you have never been, I HIGHLY suggest it. Why spend several hours figuring out where to go to lunch/dinner, then to a movie, when you can do it all in one place! Congrats to Smitty's for keeping my favorite type of movie theater going strong! I'll be back soon!

Not only did they oversell my reserved seat I picked out hours before the movie, but the server who brought me my food changed the .00's on my check to .88. Go here if you want your seat & money stolen. People at the front said I'd get a call about my seat but never received one. Not sure how many people the server has stolen from, but in any amount, is super wrong.

tickets are average price. food is pricey, but what theater that sells any type of food isnt?
You can buy them online before the showing. Just remember that because you have tickets that doesn't mean they will have enough seats for a party to all sit together unless you get there early enough to get seats. Depends on how popular the movie is/what day it is also. You will have seats.
They do matinee movies on weekends and school vacation. During Fall and Winter they do not do matinee movies. Theater opens at 5 during the week. Tuesdays all movies are $6. They also have a late night special on Friday and Saturday.

Beer & wine is anywhere from $5-$15 depending on the size you get (pitchers also available). Soda is a little less (not by much). Popcorn is typical movie theater pricing.
Yes I believe you can you your GC at any location.
Half hour before is when they start selling tickets you can go in at that point and start orderig food.

These questions don't go to the theater they go to fellow patrons who may or may not have been to the theater. Screenings and showtimes change all the time for what is currently or going to be playing at the theater your best bet is to call the theater or go to their website

The Walking Dead is a tv series, not a movie series. It is on the channel AMC on basic cable or satellite, and can also be found on Netflix.
