Love this place! Best Turkish coffee in Portland and awesome family feel. It's even walking distance to my fave second hand shop. They even serve veggie options paninis and bagels. And if that wasn't enough, my pastry came warm and toasted. The belly dancing event last night was amazing. Got to meet the owner who's there quite often, awesome!

Marino Cafe is a place I’ve frequented since my relocation to Portland in 2016. It’s been a cafe near and dear to me as I’ve progressed through my college years, celebrating milestones over Turkish Coffee and Greek bagel. Marino is a cafe that’s genuine to its slogan “Not an Ordinary Cafe,” as the baristas and regulars are considered family by owner Dario and his family. The staff are wonderful. The coffee and treats are decadent. The atmosphere is comforting. This place is special in that brings people back for a reason. -AG

Yes. Plenty of desks, outlets, and WiFi.
They have a little stage in the corner with pictures of belly dancers but the only events listed on their Facebook happened in 2011 and 2016 and were a book signing and two save the cafe raffles. However a comment from someone on Facebook states they have belly dancing once month. If they have shows they don't appear to advertise them anywhere clearly online. They have no website.
Only on Hep Cat Night, Tuesdays.
