First time here. We went here for my birthday. I haven't had frog legs in years. They were amazing! The escargot was outstanding. The prix fixe menu is well balanced with outstanding value for the price. This is a four course upscale meal that is thought-out, perfectly cooked, and priced far below what you get. My father has told me for years about this place. After eating here... I now understand. Sometimes daddy knows best. (Sometimes lol) Make reservations and plan accordingly. This is fine dining and having many courses takes time. Enjoy.

Family and friends gathered after a funeral. This was a higher-end restaurant. We had our own room. Place was lacking waiters but which place isn't?

I have been going to Berta's for years. I have NEVER had a bad meal and have ALWAYS been more than satisfied at the food quality and quantity. I don't know what Ellen V is talking about but she's either crazy or got the wrong place.

Lovely restaurant off the beaten path, family owned, interesting history, wonderfully decorated. The food was terrific, the service wonderful and the chef checking on everyone! Everything freshly made from the ricotta with truffle honey, the marvelous tomatoe soup, the chantrel mushroom ravioli and my favorite berry, huckleberry sauce over vanilla ice cream! A joy!
