We loved the pizza and cocktails at Blaze and had excellent service. Especially considering its close proximity to downtown Bar Harbor, the prices were very reasonable. We wanted to return during our short trip but had to force ourselves to branch out - it’s that good!

We ate at a lot of places on our 6 day visit to Bar Harbor, and this place took 1st place for us. Everything we had was absolutely amazing! We started with the crab cakes as an app. I had the Lobster and Scallop Risotto and my husband had the Mojo Chicken. Both were excellent! The staff was also wonderful and polite. We were at the bar waiting for our table and girl was very attentive. Overall a great experience and a must do for dinner while in Bar Harbor.

"Interesting" food options. Most selections contain unique ingredients like duck fat. The chicken dish is flat seared chicken thigh. The shrimp cake had tails and shells included. Perhaps that is how they are served, I donno. Be prepared to try unique/ odd arrangements of dishes.

Blaze offers indoor and outdoor dining that has a roof and plastic sides to protect the guests from the weather even if you are seated at the end like we were. The haddock burgers were super delicious and came with a choice of french fries fried in duck fat (yes, yes, YES!) or a salad with roasted vegetables. The Blueberry Basil drink with Limoncello in it was great.
