1. It took 15 minutes for the staff to even look at us when we walked in. 2. When I asked for water cups at the self-refill water station, where there presumedly should be a stack of cups for self-serve, I was given a single cup, and when I clarified that I needed two (I said cups, as in plural), the employee said annoyedly, "Oh you need TWO cups. TWO cups," and gave me a second cup after a huff. 3. I understand a long wait time for food as there was a visible, "Seeking line cook" sign in the window, but when my burger arrived, it had a huge grey long hair sandwiched neatly between the burger and the lettuce. 4. When I accepted the employee's offer of a new burger (I didn't ask, they offered), the employee then proceeded to sit down at our table and lean in, kind of guilting me for I-don't-know-what since he was the one who offered me a replacement burger. 5. My boyfriend never received his onion rings, but we were so exasperated that we gave up on asking. 6. Imagine Roland Schitt from Schitt's Creek, that was this guy. No boundaries, rude, and made us super uncomfortable. The replacement burger was delicious, but came without fries or mayo on the side as the original burger did, but at least there was no extra hair this time. If you can ignore all of the above conditions, by all means, check this place out.

Honestly, first time and worst food. Server was swret and amazing but they were out of most things and when we got our food the tots were gross, got dog bun hard as a rock, blt was sour with little bacon and made me feel sick. Atmosphere was neat though, just wish the food was a lot better

Friendly waitress says, "we have the best burgers in Multnomah County," I ordered the blue-cheese burger, it was the best burger I have had in years. Small local place, very nice staff, excellent food, every bite was delicious. Does not look like much from the outside, but real soul inside, full of local color, easy-going unassuming place, I will be back to try more food items for sure!

Have not been here after the remodel. Great food. There is an off menu. On the off menu, which has a double hamburger with 2 grilled cheese sandwiches as buns. Huge beast. The waitresses said it's their most popular to go item. Today I had a salad,,,,,and onion rings.

From Facebook page on 8/29/18: We hope to submit our plans to the city by next Friday. City permitting is 3-5 months and then there is repair time. We are hoping to keep the basics of what makes our bar great while modernizing the kitchen, electrical and plumbing. The new ceiling and floors will be different and better. It's gonna be new old. Thanks for supporting us on Multnomah Days and through all of this. We cant wait for our sign lighting party and seeing all of you.
Yes it will but it will take in my estimation at least 2 or 3 weeks probably
Yes
We don’t have a Milwaukee location. We have Renner’s Grill @7819 SW Capitol Highway Multnomah Village and The Hawthorne Hideaway @2221 SE Hawthorne Blvd Portland close to downtown.
We’re grinding away over here. Keep your eyes on Facebook for updates.
July is almost here. When?
Ever since the kitchen fire it's been closed. Several months. I doubt it will reopen. They have to pull new permits and make ADA code. That's going to cost him a bunch. I hope they can reopen.
