Came for dinner while visiting from out of town. No problem with reservation or seating. My wife ordered a margarita-I must say it was the worst we had ever tasted-way too much lime. They brought another and it was done right. Onion soup was excellent. My wife’s fish was rubbery and overdone. I ordered a filet cooked medium…it was just passed medium well and dry. I ordered an Aperol Spritz-some weird pink thing came out…a huge insult to Italians-it was horrible…wrong glass, wrong wine, no orange, no ice no Aperol. Ordered a Crème Brûlée with strawberry-that’s how it came out and was titled, but the menu description said blueberry! I am not one to complain…this would have been a one star had it not been for the waitress trying so hard.

Oof. Two stars because the dessert was delicious & I feel bad being mean when this place was kind of camp considering that anyone actually believes its a good restaurant. Otherwise, wine list is laughable & overpriced (lol serving $10 bottles at $11 a glass? Babe, no.) Dinner was fine, but definitely nothing special — especially since it was cold. Appetizer was genuinely gnarly. The salad dressing had like a hard crust on the top when I started to pour it. The fact that we paid $80/meal to sit there for 3 hrs waiting for service when the food was sincerely worse than a Chili’s to go is a beautiful comedy of errors. The restaurant decor is just sad. We were seated next to (& I mean, could’ve touched knees, next to) a couple who couldn’t have been more gross. Honestly, the highlight of the night was probably cracking up listening to this guy dig himself in a hole by talking to the woman he was taking on a first date about how women just aren’t capable of passing the exam necessary to do his job at Raytheon. That’s the sort of crowd it attracts, I guess haha. Wanted to try this place out because we heard good things about the chef. I feel bad, this restaurant was probably nice at one point, but has dwindled into a miserable little place. Sartre was wrong, hell isn’t just other people. Hell is having to eat the food in this restaurant while listening to elevator music and overhearing Raytheon employees ruin their chances at finding love. But, I cannot stress this enough, the dessert was fine. I am begging you not to go here.

I’m thinking they call this restaurant gold because you must have been from the golden age to be a patron there. The only reason it doesn’t get a one star is because the staff really tried to mask the disappointments gold offered. From the start the restaurant was nearly empty. 7 tables. We sat for 20 minutes before receiving our first drink. We read the dress code was business casual (Christmas Eve dinner) and the entire wait staff wore jeans. 🤨 the wines were chilled as though they came out of the refrigerator. The food was subpar at best. Everything looked as pre-made as possible. The shrimp was over cooked, the swordfish was dry and how do you serve a filet that is medium well but ordered as medium rare. The decor is cheap an dated and the smells omitting from the dank and stark room are reminiscent of a roadside truck stop diner. I won’t be giving this place a second chance. Not worth throwing away $266 for a two person meal

Absolutely top notch food. This experience, we had breakfast at Gold, and it was phenomenal!! Whoever was cooking knew how to do a poached egg to PERFECTION!! To top it off, the potatoes that went with it was also, cooked by the hands of a true professional with care. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!!
