I would power down the computers in the evenings unless you know you will need to access it remotely. Saves on the fans, malware has less of a chance to creep into your computer, heat on the computer electronics is reduced and saves on electricity.

Purchase Microsoft Office 365 Business Standard as a minimum because it has advanced security features not available in lower versions. The cost is around $12.00 a mailbox.

Install 2 newer monitors on their desk 24" or 27" each, install a local printer/scanner on their desk, upgrade the keyboard and mouse to the gaming style keyboards and mouse, replace the office chair with a gaming chair or modern chair such as Herman Miller.

Replace the current spindle disk drive with a Solid Sate Drive and add more memory to the computer. That should get you 3 to 5 more years of life out of the computer at a higher performance level.

Run an advanced "EDR" version of the Antivirus software, enable the Microsoft Bitlocker encryption module, use the PIN login and password login features, do not run your login account as the Administrator account. Put a separate password on the administrator account and only use it for Administrator tasks. Hackers want you to use the administrator account as it has all access.

Purchase a minimum of 8GB of memory for Windows 10.

Set the Microsoft Edge Browser as your default browser. The Edge browser has many advanced security features available not found in the other browsers such as isolating the browser from the Operating System which prevents malware from attacking the operating system.
