The apartment itself isn’t bad but the maintenance could use a bit of work, they take awhile to fix things. Biggest complaint of this place is if you are looking to go swimming on a hot day, avoid the pool at all costs! Looks like a swamp and is always dirty or broken!!!

I have lived here for three years, I moved in July of 2019. It’s truly gotten progressively worse. I thought I was moving into somewhere safe and secure, but the gates here are always broken or left open for anyone to come in. My car has been broken into, valuables stolen, my upstairs neighbor just had his whole car stolen yesterday!!! We’ve reported suspicious activity to the police and all of this to the manager, and nothing has come of it. On top of that, the front office ladies are always changing, and they are always rude and not very helpful. Also, I have no idea why they’re charging $1500 for a one bedroom in Avondale either!!!

I wish there was an option for 0 stars. I’ve only live at this complex for a relatively short time but there have been problems the entire time. A few weeks after moving in, our deadbolt lock for the front door was changed. I had to go to the front office and complain in order to get a new key for MY apartment. Not only that but I’ve had packages go missing from the mail room. Don’t get me started on parking; coming home from work after 6pm and you’ll have no where to park. This apartment complex is so bad I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy to it.

This property gets only 1 Star because the maintenance crew is actually pretty decent. Otherwise I would give this Property 0 Stars. I am a current resident and can not wait until my lease is over so we can get the heck out of here. So whats wrong with the property you ask? 1) If you want high-Speed Internet, this is not the place for you as they only have access to CenturyLink 40Mb service. They have no desire to bring in Cox or anybody else. they don't even want to spsend the money to bring in fiber which CenturyLink already laid out along McDowell right in front of the apartments. 2) Office staff doesn't care about the quality of your residence once you sign that lease. They refuse to call you back. Case & Point. I have been attempting to call the property manager for the last month and a half or so and have still not heard back. I been calling, sending emails, sending emails through the resident portal and nothing. 3) the units are small and the property in General is crazy expensive. Nearly 1300/Month for a 700 Sq.Ft. 1 Bed 1Bath Unit. to top it off, the quality of the furnishing are garbage. Did I mention that the upper cabinets in my unit Fell off the wall? yes that really happened. 4) there are a lot and I mean a lot of people with dogs and sadly, a lot of them do not pick-up after Fido is done doing that business. 5) Part of your lease is that you pay a portion of the water bill that is used for landscaping (common Water as they call it) which is pretty common these days, the problem is that the property and the landscaper's they've contracted with are not maintaining the sprinkler system or the Drip lines. I have about 5-7 drip-lines just outside my unit I have asked the office to fix and nothing has been done since April. they continue to waste water because they can't be bothered to put on a 98 cent cap. 6) Parking? Forget about finding a spot. This Property rents a lot of units out to the UTI student down the street. On Average from what I've been told, is that there are 4 student per unit. Each having a car. My Wife has to sometime search for a spot for 30 minutes or more. People end up parking in front of the mailboxes or outside the "gate" because there isn't anywhere else to park. 7) the property is gated, but the gates are never ever closed. Makes having the Gates pointless since they are not used. 8) the Office Staff and/Or 3rd party Biller they use are Incompetent and can't get your bill correct to save thier life. My monthly statement has been wrong more times than not. and since the office doesn't call you back it is almost impossible to get it corrected. What's good about the place? 1) it is somewhat quiet during the day 2) Location is pretty good. Bottom Line: Unless you want to waste your money and have a poor poor experience and pay whatever they say you owe without know what you're paying for or why, I would not recommend this property to anyone, not even my worst enemy. See the Image below if you don't believe me about the cabinets. Yeah That's What your paying for. UPDATE: 02.01.21 I finally spoke with the new property manager about a week ago and brought up my concerns. She was very “professional” in her responses to me. Gave me all the correct corporate type answers and apologized. She did address the loss caused by the cabinets falling off the wall and took most of it off my next months rent. Rumor has it that the property is scheduled for a major internet upgrade to Fiber from Centurylink. Of course it’s too late for me as we have already decided to move out. There is no change in the irrigation wastefulness or the lack of parking. Since the property acts as a “dorm” for UTI, I seriously doubt parking will ever improve. For what the cost of rent is here, I still think there are better properties out there. Management here has done too little too late. Disclaimer. This has been my experience here, yours of course may be worse or somehow better. ***STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS ***
