This location is bigger than the one off walnut. Has a Little fishy smell when you enter.

Just stopped in to check it out. Great selection of products from Japan and Asia. Lines seemed very long. Baked goods looked great. Hot food with a seating area inside made for a good place to eat or grab takeout

This is the go to store for everything Asian. We stop here every time we’re in the area to restock and occasionally try something new. This time we bought fresh live Dungeness crab. We had them steam the crab and it was delicious when we got it home. Manila clams and so much more…

Ignore all the bad reviews, they're just mostly Karens. This market is exceptionally busy at all time so the attitude of employees are explainable (I usually don't care about them, customer service is basically just a job and they're just trying to get the money; if I got what I needed I'm happy). Besides, I honestly respect the amount of work the workers over here have to deal with every single day. Came by to have some food while waiting for my friends to drop by, what I witnessed is an Asian version of Costco. Incredible works fellows!

Their services are very very bad
It changes based on the season and supply. I had seen $18.99 to $22.99/lb. But I also saw $7.99/lb once in the past.
Yes 👍😋
Yes but not on certain prepared foods.
Yes they do. I recommend the unprocessed ones. It is work to grind yourself but it gives you a better flavor profile
Miso paste yes. Not sure about chickpea.
I have not seen it
You got me curious about natto that I had to Google it. Now, I'm interested in trying Natto myself... Sounds like a lot of great health benefits although not great in taste. The next time I'm in 99 Ranch, I will check if they sell Natto. Since Natto is a Japanese dish, I think you should be able to find it at Mitsuwa on Culver in Irvine. There's also Seiwa on Harbor in Costa Mesa and another Mitsuwa on Paularino in Costa Mesa. You probably should try those places for now.
They have several kinds of packaged dried fish in the frozen section.
Yes. That's available.
