We will never return to this store. We placed an order at the bakery for a cake and some cupcakes for our 1 year olds birthday a week prior. The day of the party (today) we received a call at 8:20 this morning from a man named Derek. He stated that his baker and backup baker called out so they could not fulfill our order. We then asked if he could contact their neighboring Ralph's locations to see if they could fill our order on a rush. He agreed and said he'd return our call shortly. During that time, my wife decided to call the Ralph's store on Katella in Orange on her own. She explained to them our situation. They were extremely sympathetic and agreed to help us out on a rush order as our order was very simple and that it would be ready by 10am. A few minutes after my wife hung up with the other location, Derek calls her back and says that no other location in the area has an on-site baker and can help us. Our only option, according to him was to purchase a premade product. My wife decided to test Derek by asking about the store on Katella. He said he called and they didn't have anyone to help us. My wife then asked when they'd have an available baker, he said at 11:30. She told him that our party was at noon and if they can prepare a cake for us by then or even 1-1:30. He said that they can't help us and that we can only purchase a pre-made product. My wife then informed Derek that she had already called the store on Orange and that they agreed to help us while being very sympathetic of our situation and that he was a liar. Derek didn't have anything to say other than "I'm sorry", but he was hung up on mid apology. Next contact will be to his manager and if he is the manager, it will be to the corporate office.

This used to be a great place to shop. Now, it is horrible. There is no lighting after dark. The store is always a cluttered mess. If you're shopping here to save money, consider spending a few dollars more and saving your life. It is really awful.

I always go to this Ralphs store to buy some groceries. I purchased several items today in the morning at this store. When I came back home, I found one item was missing. I investigated all the Ralphs' shopping bags and my car trunk but I couldn't find it. I already checked the shopping cart before I returned it. I called the customer service of the store but I had to wait for a long time to receive their answer. They finally told me I had to come back to the store to grab a missing item. But it is time wasting, so I wouldn't do that. It is strange that one item was missing. I bought two packs of raspberry but one of the two same packs was gone. I don't want to suspect the cashier, Saeidah. There is no reason why the item was missing. Besides, the response of the customer service center was disappointing.
