Location is top notch with miles of walking trails around the harbor. Area is surprisingly quiet , with mostly all adults there during our stay. Rooms are typical, but no microwave. I like to bring breakfast up to our room, but there were no trays. The front desk guy told us breakfast was from 7 to 11, but when I went back down, it was closed at 10. Great location and quiet made our stay very worth it .

Great location, within walking distance to everything you need. The building is in need of some updating, but the staff is phenomenal. Christine at the front desk was the most helpful and friendly person we’ve ever met! Knowledgeable of the area and willing to do whatever she could to make our stay great! Even lent my friend her hairspray while we were getting ready for a wedding. Wendy was also great and gave us good good food recommendations. Will definitely be back. Thanks for a great stay.

We love road trips, and this is one of our favorite places to stay. It's clean, quiet and has balconies to sit on while you look out to the harbor and ocean. Plenty of parking is available. The meal is from El Torito, an easy walk from the Inn. There are shops a d the harbor that make for a nice walk, other places to eat or get a cup of coffee. It's a great ace to stay, relaxing and well located. We love it here, and we think you will too.

The location of the Dana Point Marina Inn is fabulous. The Inn is in need of a serious renovation, but our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. In the first room we were given the hot water stopped and we had to be moved to another room. In that room the bathroom fan sounded like a cargo plane taking off. But we enjoyed our stay because of the location of the Inn. Being able to walk around the marina, walk to restaurants and shops and to the parks on the hill made it a great place for us to stay. I'm sure if it was renovated we wouldn't be able to afford to stay here!
