Good God, this is the worst bureaucracy in California, which is saying a lot! Worse than the DMV, worse than the planning dept., the worst! Mountains of nonsensical forms, no help from anyone and they've closed all their offices to the public. Jerks!

I talked to Mary and this woman was so rude I could not believe my ears !!!! I was simply trying to ask about some information on a registration issue and the unprofessionalism of this woman was unbelievable !! So if you’re looking for a professional atmosphere you will not receive it in this office and especially talking to a woman named Mary !!!

In April/May 2018, submitted paperwork to have my name added to a relative's mobile home title. Its now November 2018 and the status of the paperwork is STILL pending! REALLY??? It takes that long for paperwork to process??? And forget about asking questions or trying to get answers, the person who answers will only tell you what shows up on their computer screen. Nothing more, nothing less. Not really helpful at all.

Does uour office open on thirsdsy
Do to the covid 19, HCD is not open, there is a drop box next to the security guards if you need to drop off permits. If you need applications they are some next to the box.

They might if the inspector sees wonting that concerns him on the outside. It is, of course, for safety.
Is this a motorhome or a manufactured home? Motorhome's are through DMV not HCD. If it's a manufactured home you need to go on their website and look up "Registration & Titling" then "Buy, Sell, or Transfer" all the info you need is there.

3-6 months. You turn in all your paperwork in a few minutes but as if today 10-30-18 they are very backed up. If you open a requestor account you can check status of your transfer online.

You can google, "ADA wheelchair ramp standard plan". Take the plans to HCD and pull a permit.
