These guys are awesome! Devon’s customer service was magnificent. He was able to get me in even though I was running a bit late for my appointment. Tyler was able to realign my Tacoma after several shops have tried and failed. I’m very satisfied with my experience and will go nowhere else for my future service. Thanks guys.

I got an electrical board replaced for my car here. When I got the car back my back window didn’t work. I brought the car back since the repair was still under warranty and Pep Boys didn’t seem happy to see me. They charged me $70 for an electrical diagnosis even though it was under warranty and made a snarky remark when my washer’s didn’t work, “Did we do that too?”.

I made an appointment and I get an email the day of the scheduled appointment saying: "Sorry you couldn't make your recent service appointment with us — do you want to set another time? Just click here to reschedule. Thanks for letting us know you couldn't make your appointment. We hope to see you soon!" Did they just cancel my appointment last second the day of? I did not contact them about cancelling anything. If you are busy and can't service me then say so but don't make it seem that I cancelled it....

I wouldn’t trust Pep Boys with anything beyond very simple maintenance tasks. We took our van to them to get the alternator replaced, but after a week, they still couldn’t get it working right. A different mechanic told us they Pep boys had installed the wrong alternator, but Pep Boys refused to listen and even blamed us that they couldn’t get it to work (Eventually we had the other mechanic put in the correct alternator and now the van runs great). This was THE WORST EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER HAD with an auto mechanic.
