This place is a very cool spot to sit and hangout. Their Sailor Sandwich is a phenomenal pastrami, knockwurst, swiss, and hot mustard on rye. You can get fries, onion rings, or salad. Beers are cold and affordable with some at 4.00 during happy hour. Staff is friendly and attentive. Good spot overall.

Let me just say that I always love dining at Southern Railway Taphouse! I brought my family and friends there to celebrate my graduation. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating! They have a great affordable food selection and the atmosphere is lovely plus there is an arcade upstairs! I felt seen and heard as a guest and we were given a little parting gift! The service was outstanding and the staff was friendly very friendly.

The Taphouse had excellent food with burgers and entrees. The happy hour from 3 to 7 during the week gives half off appetizers and a large variety of reduced price drafts.

Good beer selection as well as a bourbon and scotch list. The food is okay, fries have a great seasoning. Stopped to share a quick bite while walking the canal.

Not at all...definitely a nice atmosphere
Not really. There is some parking between where 7Hills was and Bottoms up Pizza but on the weekends, it's sparce. They have minimal parking and a lot of it is pay to park.One other thing, if you get curbside right in front of the building, be prepared to move around 8pm. That area becomes staging for Richmond City PD.
