Terrible outdated hotel! Only one employee working! Room was gross, the chlorine in the pool was so strong it made our eyes water! I saw the front desk guy carry the scrambled eggs out in a bowl, scrape them into the warmer without gloves and go back to working the front desk! On our return drive back home, we cancelled our reservations and stayed in Mitchell, SD instead.

Adequate stay for one night. The temperature in Chamberlain was in the upper '90s the day we arrived and it appeared that the AC in the hotel was having trouble keeping up. All of the common areas/lobby were very warm. The front area of our hotel room stayed about 10 degrees warmer than the rest of the room. Also, there is no elevator in the hotel which was a bit of an inconvenience to bring luggage up to our second-floor room. Kids had fun in the pool - small waterslide and basketball hoop. However, this area also needs some updates. Sharp, broken tiles in hot tub. Sign on bathroom door telling people not to use it because the lock doesn't work. Will definitely stay somewhere else if we're ever in the area.

The room was clean. However, there were cockroaches in the pool area. Where there is one cockroach you know there is more! Oh, and the pool area is by the right beside the breakfast area! Icky! I do NOT recommend this hotel.

Great hotel for a short stay in Chamberlain. We got stuck because of weather following a high school baseball game. They were helpful in reserving a large number of rooms with short notice. Very clean and comfortable beds. The breakfast was well-stocked and the bar/lounge was great. The employees were all friendly and worked hard!
