Great place. It is Huge! Very busy. But has everything you need. We rented a cabin for a week. Very cozy. Only small issue is the camp store opens at 8:00 a.m. .

I used to love this place but was taken back by the security guards dressed like State Troopers wearing guns, doing radar inside the campground. A bit much for me. Also all the golf carts with loud music blasting till 1 in the morning was a bit out of hand, and all the golf carts with the extra large Let’s go Brandon flags and the Trump won flags just didn’t do it for me. There is a time and place for that, I certainly don’t need politics shoved in my face while I’m vacationing. There is no Wi-Fi in the campground. And when I was departing I was told when I booked the place that checkout was 12 noon. Why she told me that I have no idea because at 1130 the office called me wanting to know why I didn’t leave yet. This place changed a lot and it felt very uncomfortable.Don’t think I’ll be coming back anytime soon.

Good location & decent sites are the positives. LOUD and security doesn't do a thing about it, countless golf carts blaring music at all hours with bright LED headlights, very few activities for kids or families, VERY heavy lead content in water (and when I say VERY high, I mean it should be tested daily and I would absolutely not drink it.. even with a high-end water filter as we had), and to top it off... numerous staff are incredibly rude. Security was an absolute joke... rent-a-cops that think they have power. If you complain about anything, you're likely to get kicked out without a refund. Spoke to numerous seasonal tenants, similar complaints: management is horrendous and needs a lengthy class in customer service. Todd was cool though... the rest should follow his lead. Images are from our toilet... it was spotless prior to this trip and now has streaks due to the water. Metal smell was so bad we ended up using only bottled water and took a shower at a local gym after working out.

Should be renamed trash beach. The owners wife is nasty to people which is sad because most of the long term people down there are super friendly. She trolls every online post and will throw people out just for being unsatisfied with something. Maybe she should just keep her mouth shut?? I never experienced this but just seeing how she speaks to people upsets me, I have zero tolerance for rude people. So glad my parents left there after over ten years of being there- for the record, they've never had issues and they never get online to see how she talks to people. As management, she should be more professional. I recommend her taking some communication classes like the rest of us in management have to do!
