I absolutely love this restaurant. Service is excellent as always and the food by far the best Italian food I have tried. The portions are family size . Plenty extra for the next day. My server is always lovely he makes our dining a sure pleasure and delight. I love that it's wheelchair accessible. Pop's is 97 and loves to dine there. Kudos to the amazing staff and of course the chef .

The food is great! Everything is fresh. They serve HUGE, sharable portions. Service is good. Staff is friendly. It is 'old school' Italian. The menu is on the far back wall. They offer table service...staff places the 1st portion of a dish on your plate. A very classy, personal touch especially, in today's world with all the modern technology in some restaurants. Lots of memorabilia hung up on the walls. Worth walking around when it is not crowded. There is an open kitchen so you can watch your food being prepared. If you order a half bottle of wine, it is served in what looks like a glass soda bottle. Overall, my friends and I had a very nice meal here.

Excellent family style restaurant attentive service and friendly staff they treat you like one of the family. The food is also excellent I’ve been here q few times and never have been disappointed.

There is no greater (old school) Italian Restaurant experience anywhere in New York, and probably the whole country. If you want the absolute best dining and service and authenticity, there is only ONE Don Peppe.

Seems possible as there is a sign inside stating 'gift certificates available'.
I wouldn't know that answer but you can call them and asked them that question okay. SID
That's why I'm trying to get as close as possible. Just even the type it would be classified under... I'm not a wine connoisseurs I just know I like that one. I don't know where to start if I was to purchase a bottle.
HUH.... cuz... go to the olive garden u want gluten free ... this is real deal... no they dont do gluten free
No, they do not take reservations. And all members of the party need to be there before they can get your table prepared
They Sure do
By a lot. I loved it. Just to get in everybody in the party had to be present to be temp checked and at least one of the party had to leave info. I could count at least 12 ft between tables. The most comfortable I've felt indoors since this all started. Trust me, I'm a building engineer.
Agreed, hats are the only thing they tak offense to
