Do not recommend, camp staff are extremely rude and unhelpful with any of the amenities โ€œincludedโ€ and the owner of the camp is not any better. Donโ€™t waste your time or money at this camp ground unless you enjoy being treated like a child and wasting your money. The staff 100% play favorites and only enforce โ€œquite timeโ€ to certain camp sites and they are extremely rude about โ€œquite timeโ€. Also, camp ground is very shady. Make sure if you do an after hour check in make sure you register the very next day at the office, they will STILL charge your card their money but claim youโ€™re trespassing on their land, even though they left your check in information on their late night check in board and have already processed payment. Super weird will not be returning.

Our family just returned from our first time camping at Kayuta. We are seasoned campers, but have never been here before. This campground is family friendly, clean, and safe. We were impressed with the management, how well kept the grounds were, and how the rules were enforced. We always felt comfortable letting our kids play and explore the area. It was quiet and peaceful family camping. We will be back here soon.

The campground is only open from May 1st to October 15th.

Can someone come to visit for the day? We don't have a camper or trailer nor do we have tents. Your facility looks like a blast and I have loved Kayuta lake since I was a kid. Our neighbors had a camp on the lake. I'd love to visit.
