Interesting little hideaway at the eastern end of Lake Ontario. Part of a beach front community called Sandy Pond.

This is a cute little beach tucked away across a very narrow little bridge. There is an exceptional amount of parking for such a small beach! The restrooms were convenient and clean and there is a nice pavillion overlooking the water. The beach itself is very rocky with a little sand. The nice part, if you have smaller children, is the water is extremely shallow in the swimming area. This keeps them safer when the wind whips up the waves which is not uncommon on the Eastern end of the lake.

Small beach, lots of rocks. Great for peaceful and quiet moments. Has bathroom facilities. You definitely need some padding to lay on the sand. It was a 35 minute drive from Oswego.
