Motel itself is ok, location is great, the problem really is the obviously ridiculous policies they are forcing housekeeping to adhere to. We asked for toilet paper, because the ones in the room were down the two or three sheets left on each roll, we were given one half roll as a refill, for four people! There was a broken lightbulb left in the drawer, we asked if aomeone could come get the broken glass out of the drawer so our kids wouldn't cut themselves, we were told "no". We asked for two more towels, since there were four of us in the room, housekeeping said that two was the limit according to hotel policy. Lastly, every day we would come back to the room with the heater turned on. In order to use the a/c unit you have to move a table out of the way, so we would do that, put it back, and every day the heater would be turned back on. Obviously, this was some dumb policy that housekeeping was being told to do. The thing is that it was over 90 degrees every day we were there. Again, we were there with two small children, the last thing you need is them constantly complaining about how the room is really hot, and then having to move unnecessary furniture in a very tiny room, every single night be cause somebody keeps turning on the heater. Not related to obscure motel policies, a decent amout of parking spaces are blocked off, filled with construction debris and trash. There were no spaces left to park in when we came back one night because of this, the only option left when this happens is to park on the road out front. Also, don't believe the fact that it says there is handicap accessible parking, there isn't. There is one handicapped space, shoved against a building pylon, with poles around it so you don't crash into it. This means yhat if you need wheelchair access there isn't any.

Rooms recently remodeled, would have been nice to add a soap dish in shower/tub. Also, for safety additional safety bars would have been a nice feature.

Checked in that afternoon so I could go to my room later that evening (and to ensure my room was on the ground floor - no elevators & difficult for me to climb stairs). When I entered my room that night, the TV didn't work. The desk clerk was unable to fix it & the only other room was on the 2nd floor (no offer to help me with my bags). Room had stained carpet, peeling wallpaper, & a missing lightbulb in lamp on the bedside table but I just wanted to sleep. Upon arising the next morning, all 4 vanity outlets didn't work despite reset. When I tried to use the phone, the phone did not work (buttons were missing on the phone). Called the front desk on my cellphone to ask for another blowdryer since the blowdryer was bolted to the wall & the cord would not reach another functioning outlet (no extra blowdryers available). Ended up making coffee on the floor using an outlet by the TV. Had to meet family on Easter Sunday at church with wet hair. Manager called me (per my request upon checkout) later that day & would only offer me a 50% refund. Called corporate offices the next day & they said the best they could do is the 50% refund & 2000 pts to my Choice Privileges account (they can keep their points). Will NEVER stay at another Choice Privilege facility in the future!!!

The staff and management catered to my needs and didn't rush us out of the hotel even though we slept past check-out time. The rooms are always clean and smell good. Also there are enough plugs to charge and power my electronics.
