My herb club had a lovely tour of the farm which is doing well with their English Lavender, used for cooking. Unfortunately due to weather and climate the Farm has lost their French lavender plants that are more fragrant

The owners are amazing. The setting is beautiful. And who knew there was so much to learn about lavender. Be sure to grab some of the culinary lavender to make your own lavender-infused lemonade! They have it there and it's delicious!

Beautiful spot of the main road. 4 stars are for the fact that I bought a jar to collect the culinary lavender it has mostly passed and that should have been mentioned before purchase. I was able to collect enough for my lavender extract jar but it was slim pickings (first week of August.) I feel the owner should have mentioned that the culinary was passed and I would have picked a different type of lavender to collect. Other then that is a great place to stop. Very beautiful. Great lavender products. Edited: See response from the owner: They are very nice people, and my extract did come out lovely. I think in the future they should have the culinary plants labeled in the "mixed" section of the farm in case the designated culinary area is over collected. I wish I could give a 4.5, but alas, it is not the way of Google.

To pick up an order at the farm, you can order online at LavenlairFarm.com/shop and use coupon code FARM. It will remove the shipping cost and give you the phone number to call/text to arrange a time to pickup your order. We open for the season on June 19th and will be open Wednesdays thru Sundays 10am to 4pm through September 1st to visit our farm shop. Hope that helps! Diane & Dave Lavenlair Farm
