We got the Vegan Penolope Pepperoni Pizza, and it was great! Good flavors! The reason I'm giving them 3 stars is due to their customer service. We weren't informed while ordering that our pizza was going to take 30 min to be prepared, but everyone who ordered over the phone was informed of the wait time. I had to get my canned drinks out of the fridge behind the counter myself (maybe this is normal). We weren't offered any napkins or utensils when we finally got our pizza and weren't informed that the pizza was very hot and that the toppings would slide off if we picked up a slice immediately. Side note: the tables and chairs are very squeaky and uncomfortable. They have tons of great vegan options, so for anyone looking for something like that, check out their menu and call in! Over all, the pizza tastes great, but I would recommend calling in your order so you're not left waiting for a while with no updates.

Hands down best vegan gluten-free pizza in all of San Diego county! Almost every pizza place uses the same sad frozen gluten-free crusts (and charges a lot extra $ for it), but Gianni's keeps it real: they offer a homemade GF pizza dough option, no surcharge, and it is almost indistinguishable from regular pizza dough (according to my gluten eating friends who took a bite of our pizza). Not to mention how CREATIVE their pizzas are: very diverse toppings, amazing flavor combinations, lots of choice,... seriously, this is San Diego's best kept secret! The owner is also super friendly, the place is low key and fun.... Gianni's please don't change a thing cause what you do is amazing!

Ordered a meatball sub and the chicken pesto pizza. Not much chicken to be found, and the chicken we did find was kind of stringy and chewy. Mostly tasted the ricotta not the pesto and had to roll the pizza slices up to eat them because the crust was barely structured and soggy from oil. Maybe the vegan pizza is the way to go?

Great pizza, been going here for the last 10 years never been disappointed. The gluten free pizza crust is the best in all of San Diego.
