I had my father in law at this facility twice for therapy and eventually for longer term care, even with his dementia and sometimes grouchiness, he was always treated with care and respect. He enjoyed the staff, food- especially and activities through out his stay. I would recommend the facility to anyone looking for short or long term care.

Unfortunately, my father was sent to this place for rehab. La Mesa neglects their patients by leaving them soiled for the WHOLE day! Having them lay on the bed the whole day. The interdisciplinary team are great, but nurses and cna in this facility are terrible. No sense of co-operation or communication. Administration does not check on patients to verify the team does their job. Take your love ones somewhere.

Absolutely horrible. My grandmother was treated horrible, they don't get fed dinner till 8. A woman was yelling for help and they told her to shut up. They ignored my grandmother for over an hour. They told her she couldn't leave because she was exposed to covid. No visitors. They yelled at her. They made her go to the bathroom by herself, which she can not so they told her to wear a diaper.
