Some outdated items. New kitchen floor would be nice. LOVE having a separate in apt laundry room. Cross ventilation with windows is a huge plus. Ceiling fan a plus. Lots of space. BIG LR/DR/KT. Towing company is VERY suspect with their policies. My HVAC ducts appear to be very, very dirty, as do my vents. Great location (I'm 3rd floor). The grounds are well kept overall. I have almost no issues with bugs/vermin/rodents.

I was a resident at Taylor park for 1 year. During this time I experienced unethical practices by those who work in the leasing office. I have received notices that were typed up by Chrissy in the leasing office and not official from Morgan Properties/Corporate offices. In the beginning of my rental period, everything was fine. Towards the end, the harassment was unbearable and unwarranted. I am no longer living at Taylor Park, it has been 4 months since moving out and I am receiving phone calls from affiliates of Taylor Park informing me of the changes that were made in my lease without my permission or approval. Those who work in the leasing office are very clandestine and untrustworthy. I've tried contacting corporate numerous times; voicemails and emails were sent to no avail. It would be remiss of me not to leave this honest review. I would not deter anyone from moving to Taylor park, the apartments have the usual ware and tear. I would just go in with full knowledge that there are a plethora of unethical practices that are swept under the rug and a lack of checks and balances.

I do not live here, but my husband and I applied for a two bedroom apartment. The price seemed reasonable, but the way there prices fluctuated became somewhat annoying. I understand apartments do this, so we did not pay it any mind as much. My husband and I applied to move in on March 26th, this option was given to us online in our application and it worked our perfectly for us. Upon completion of the application, we were emailed by Chantel the Assistant Property Manager. We were told that we needed another pay stub, proof of social security and clarification of when we wanted to move in. The first and second needed information was something we considered easy. It was the moving date that the apartment had an issue with. They wanted us to move in within 14 days of the approved application . Being that we were moving from one apartment to another, we would be paying rent for two places, mainly because we filled out the application in the beginning of the month. Had we waited 14 or so day before we actually wanted to move in, there would have been a chance for the apartment to no longer be available. So we were in a sticky situation because of this "only holding and apartment for 14 days policy". They were so forceful and inconsiderate of when we wanted to move in. They kept throwing "special deals" in our face to take advantage of and told us if we moved in on the 26th the price of rent would be higher. After doing the calculation they higher price of rent would only be $140 extra for a whole leasing year. So we did not have a problem with the higher rent. They also kept trying to push a 3rd floor apartment on us as well, while they had lower level apartments available that we actually preferred. After reading Chantel's email, we called the office about what we applied for and what was offered to us online. We were told that what we see online is not what they see in front of them. That was even more weird. When I emailed the apartment the receipt of our application showing March 26th move in date and a first floor apartment selection along questions as to why they were seeing something different from what we saw, I did not get a response or call back. I found that to be so rude and unprofessional. If you are looking for an apartment that is considerate and allows you to plan your life in advance, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE. Forcing applicants to move in 14 days of approval of application and having them pay extra money on top of that is not convenient for everyone.

It's a friendly place and I've got some nice neighbors. The grounds and public areas are well maintained; new lighting was installed recently. The apartment office staff are kind and go out their way to help you. I am a satisfied, long term resident. It's great here!
