Photogenic shop and lab for film photographers. The wait in line took about 10 minutes, but wasn't too bad because there were eye-pleasing displays of film, frames, and photos. When I stopped by for the first time, I received a welcome pack, which included a stamp card and information about Photoworks. Service was great, prices were fair, and they return your negatives unlike Walgreens or CVS. Also, make sure to take advantage of the student discount if you're eligible and follow them on Instagram for events.

I really enjoy this place. Great quality for a decent price. Friendly staff too.

I absolutely love SF Photoworks for developing my film into digital scans. I'm very much an amateur and shoot as a hobby, but the work is always fantastic compared to any other place I've been. I've moved across the country and still mail in my rolls to them.

Never done anything to my film but perfectly develop it. I scan at home, but I trust these humans with sensitive and important content. Would completely recommend.

I will be visiting San Fransisco at the beginning of next month after a road trip in the States. Can you process 5x4 inch black and white film and possibly make contact prints. Would appreciate your help. Best wishes Bill Philip

Yes we can! The prints however will be made from scans and not in a darkroom. We look forward to seeing you at Photoworks. Happy travels!

cost to develop a roll of Canon AE-1 35mm film

You're not asking the question correctly. Color slide, color negative or B&W 35mm. "Canon AE-1" is not relevant.
