So overall, this place is super nice. There are a few things I did not like about it. The campsites are all very very close to each other. Our campsite didn't Even have its own fire ring. Luckily we were there with a friend and so we just shared. The pool pass only included 2 people , so we still had to pay for our kids to swim. We were also told we would need to pay $10 to take our own paddleboards out on the lake. It was $45 a night. For that price I would expect things like the pool and taking my own paddleboard into the lake to be included. I'm not sure whether I'd go back or not.

We love Lake Paradise ! Camping, fishing, and swimming it’s exactly what my family loves. We have been camping for three years and to see all the work they have done to improve and update is amazing. I have had friends and family rent cabins and have enjoyed their stay as well. They are so friendly from check in/store to pool staff. Another bonus is supporting a small business.

I was going to give them a 5 but after the phone call I just got they get a1. Manager just called me and accused us of having a dog in one of our cabins that we rented for the weekend. Staff told her that the cabin was full of dog hair and fleas. Animals are not allowed in the cabins so all animals were left at home with dog sitters. There were several people with dogs and everyone knows that you can pick up fleas from the grass. So now my account is flagged. We were planning to go again this summer and more next summer but not anymore. I'll spend my 500.00 plus dollars and go somewhere else. Upset customer.

We stayed during memorial day weekend. Thurs-Mon.We had pre booked and paid, were not given a choice on sites and didn't know what to expect besides electric and water. When we arrived Thursday our site had not been weedwacked in what seemed to be weeks. The only flat spot was a gravel parking spot which needed more gravel. We did not have a fire ring. The water and electric hookups are literally back to back touching eachother which to me is a risk. Staff was helpful in bringing a fire ring and quick to weedeat. The only bathroom I saw besides the one in the pool seemed new. About a 3 minute walk from our sites. However 2 Porta potties placed right next to it when they could have been moved somewhere else more effective. Bathrooms (5 rooms) were literally just a light, toilet, toilet paper (if you're lucky) and a sink. Ironically the bathroom signs say please wash your hands but yet none of them have soap, sanitizer, paper towels or trash baskets. Pool is large but is in need of maintenance. Concrete chunks found all over the bottom. The "amenities" forget about it. Baseball diamond is literally a 3 ft tall grass field. Playground? Non existent. Bring a kayak? Sorry $10/day to put it on one of their ponds. I think the new owners are trying but are missing the head of the nail. The staff we had met was friendly. Girl that checked us in however was not familiar with the procedures and gave us some wrong information. And overall false advertisement; Lake:Ponds Paradise:Meh Resort: Campground. Wish them luck as they try to rejuvenate their property.
