Lots of roomy flat space with a lake. It's not fancy, it's affordable. It's more of a campground than a fancy rv resort. Laid back, friendly host, places for kids to play and dogs to walk. Awesome thunderstorm!

We enjoyed it. It was clean and uncrowded. The grounds were well kept. Road noise was a bit loud, but tolerable.

This campground was a pretty good stop on our road trip. We camped at a primitively site (note the yellow fish sign), site H. We were right on the lake so it was very pretty. The bathrooms were decent with no locks and two of the three shower stalls had a bench to sit on. The ground is sandy and hard to put tent stakes in. The first night we stayed here, that was no problem. However, on our return trip, we stayed here again and it was very windy so we had to hold the tent down with heavy items from the car such as a water jug. The only other thing that caused the lower rating was the odd price: $20.52. We had to scrounge around for change to do our self registration.

Stayed here while returning home from South Dakota. A very convenient location right off the interstate. Nice, clean pull through spot. We immediately enjoyed getting in the lake as it was hot that day. There is a Walmart in the town nearby so we were able to grocery shop and then we enjoyed playing some sand volleyball in the evening! Would definitely stay here again on our travels.

This is a NE state park and open year round. For Electric only, 30 or 50 amp it's $29 a night with coach and tow.

So sorry we are just now seeing your inquiry! For future reference, a license is not required at our campground. We do not rent fishing rods, but we do have them for sale in our office. There is a $5 daypass fee for catch-and-release fishing. If you are camping here, the daypass is not necessary.
We have multiple tent sites throughout the campground area as well as around the lake, so there is always plenty of availability. Although we take reservations for RV sites, we do not take them for tents. You’re welcome to register in the office prior to 8:00 CT, or utilize the dropbox in front of the office after hours. The current rate after tax is $20.52 and will need to be cash or check after hours. If you have any additional questions the office is open daily from 11:00-8:00 and the number is 308-534-5077.
