The room didn't have linens for the sleeper sofa so I went down to get some and they gave me a blanket only and told me to come back for the linens. The room was set to 68 degrees and was way too cold. We weren't able to find any garbage cans to throw anything away. Not complaining just wanted to let you know where you can improve. Experienced nice staff.

I stay with this brand all the time and am always happy with the level of customer service they provide... which is why I did not take a lot of photos of the room. Breakfast was great. Staff was great. Room was trash. It had not been cleaned properly... mold and soap scum in the shower was the major problem.

First off, the hotel is on a tiny street that you almost miss each time you come off the expressway. When I was looking at my finalized bill, I was charged some random fees and when I called to inquire what they were, I was told they were a city tax. I already had a city and state tax fee on top of the room fee. These were labeled convention tourism and convention sport fees. I did not use any of these options so I am not sure why they just tack on random fees. The lady who checked us in (Jay, I think) was amazing! The made to order omelet for breakfast was amazing, but the rest of the food was just ok. Eggs were like rubber and had to ask for plates and silverware during breakfast. The metal spoons under the heat lights burned our hands. The room was dingy and needed a thorough cleaning. Not what I expect from the Embassy name. I have stayed here before and it was much better. I gave it a try, but not again. I will not pay upper tier money for a bottom tier hotel that charges whatever excess they want. Also, their happy hour had some pretzels, chips and broccoli (?) for snacks. Not worth the time and especially not the money. Go somewhere else.

There were a few issues with our stay. One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was the Hospitality Hour from 6-7:30 pm, with free cocktails, soda, snacks, and hot apps (wings, tacos, etc). The drinks were served however, we were told there would be warm apps "as soon as the Chef got there." The warm apps were never served, we were served potato chips and pretzels which were fine, but it was disappointing the hot apps were never made or offered. I did notice that several patrons were allowed to order off the menu which made me doubt the Chef wasn't there. Your website indicates hot apps are served during happy hour, they weren't. Your competitor Drury Plaza serves warm apps during happy hour. The room was adequate. The shower floor was dirty and stained, there was mold starting in the upper corner of the shower to ceiling seam, the toilet seat was loose, as was the shower door handle. I gave this hotel a two (2) star rating because of the reasons above. The made to order breakfast was one of the best I have ever had. the staff were punctual and friendly. The hotel needs a deep cleaning and updating in my opinion. I would stay here again, but I would consider other options first.
