I had a very good experience with UPack moving from STL to PHL. It's amazing how much you can cram into one relocube if you are intentional about planning - I used apple boxes from the grocery store, they stack really well and are sturdy. Keep an eye out on the quotes even after you book - use incognito mode on your browser and sometimes the price drops after your quote is locked in. You can call them and they will price adjust your locked in price if that happens.

U-Pack was a good option. They delivered a trailer on time. Cost was reasonable; better than PODS or Pack-Rat. Wish the trailer was lower to the ground, of course, but it came with a ramp so we could load. The trailer is 28-foot, and you can use the appropriate amount or even use the whole trailer if you want to pay for it. We wrapped all our items in packing blankets (that we own) and we also used shrink wrap, which if you don't already do, you definitely should. We even wrapped our mattresses in heavy-duty mattress bags (6 mil you can get at Amazon). The trailer was pretty dirty when delivered, however. We swept it out before and when we packed but it was not swept before the drop for offload. This caused everything to have a black, dirt film on it. The trailer also was not swept out when it was delivered for our offload. U-Pack has you use part of the trailer, then they use the unused part at the back end for LTL shipping. Smart on their part but causes lots of dirt and wood bits that come from the pallets they load and unload on the back. Trailer was picked up efficiently and the drivers on both ends were very professional. We'll use U-Pack in the future but again, we'll be sure to wrap everything tight, so we keep our stuff as clean as possible.

We used U-Pack recently to move from MO to WA. The ABF drivers we met were punctual and friendly. The dispatchers at their Service Centers were flexible about delivery and pickup. (One day we asked them to delay pickup 2 hours so we could finish loading and that was no big deal.) I would use U-Pack again! But I got the impression at both ends of the move that if you hire loaders or unloaders, you get their B Teams if you're hiring just labor and not the whole move.

Excellent service and value. For our 28 ft trailer - 3 business days to load, transit time, then 3 business days to unload! Absolutely BEST value for space, time, and cost vs. DIY driving a 26 ft truck or a full service moving company.

Minimum is 6ft so if you use less than 9ft which i think. You will save money
