Great campground with spacious sites and pleasantly clean vault toilets. Hosts stop by every so often to check on folks. Lots of aspens in the CG and Great proximity to the nearby passes and hiking opportunities.

Great camping, but maps say you can ride side-by-sides, and you can't, even to get to get to the trails where you can ride.

Gorgeous campground. A great place to find peace and solitude in the wilderness. There some kind of wannabe militia/cult at the top of the hill so watch out for those creeps. The lake you see on the map is guarded and theres not really any sign saying its private property but theres guys up there looking for a reason to shoot you. There are bears in the area so watch out for those guys too.

Road is little bit rough for the trailer, but short. No water, no host. Bathrooms are clean. In nice forest. No hiking trails. Colorado train is a short driving distance.

Questions & Answers

Can we have a campfire in designated firepits?

Pretty sure Park County has a fire ban on all public AND private land and campgrounds aren't an exception. LPG fueled fires are ok. We used a propane fire pit a few weekends ago. ~$120 at Lowe's.
