This is a little jewel of a place in Maine. It is a lovely place on a golf course with indoor and outdoor seating. The parking was easy, the staff is accommodating and we enjoyed the food. It is definitely worth the drive to find this place. I would recommend making reservations a head of time.

It's the only place around which is why it survives all I can figure. 14.00 for a beer is quite expensive in my opinion and it's not a large beer. It was a really good beer though, just too expensive for what it is. Food is expensive and for that price you think it would be delicious or at minimum consistent at the same table for the same item. Deserts are good. If your already there and paid so much for beer and food you might as well try the desert. All homemade and pretty decent. Especially when compared to the meal itself. Staff is pleasant. Food was not great. The calamari was fresh but had so much greese floating on the plate it looked like a sauce (you can see it in the picture). If they would have drained it properly it would have been to die for. My fish burger was cooked perfect but my moms fish for fish and chips was over cooked and possibly not fresh, tough and old tasting while mine was flakey and perfect cook. Odd how q piece is good and the other terrible of the same fish at the same table 🤔. It's like food roulette lol. 32.00 for 3 sausages and mushy saurkaut and overcooked potatoe croquet....Definitely not worth it. I sure wouldn't go back.

The food was fine, nothing very special. The service was very good. Loved the ambiance inside and out on deck. The killer for me was the pricing. Beers can be $16 each and higher. Hamburgers are almost $20. I work in Food Service and I don't know how they justify their pricing.

There is so much hype in the beer world surrounding this place that I thought there was no way it could be that good. Not only was it that good, Ebenezer's managed to exceed my expectations. This place is indeed one of the best beer bars in the world! When we arrived, we opted to sit in the seating space just outside of the bar area. The staff was super nice and super knowledgeable. The draft list was amazing, the bottles in the cooler were more impressive on their own, and the food was great. Most of us opted for salads. One person had the cheese steak and really enjoyed it. About halfway into our meal, the owner of the restaurant walked over with a 2010 bottle of Cantillon. He opened it and did a toast with us. Pictured is the bottle which was fabulous and also an awesome gesture from a great guy. If I could give this place a 6 out of 5, I would. What a great way to spend a beautiful summer afternoon in rural Maine. We will definitely be back!

No dogs allowed. And they don't have outside seating. They have in a screened-in outside patio area but you can't bring the dogs in there.
