We had to wear our masks here do to covid but we had an interesting visit. The museum starts with how Santa Claus Indiana got its name. Then there is a room with letters to Santa from over the years. There is a neat little display of houses made by crochet and a wall of pictures of famous people from a locals collection. Outside there is the giant Santa statue, the original Santa Claus Indiana post office, and an old church.

MUST SEE!!!! I truly thought this was just gunna be a risky dink museum that would take like 15 minutes to walk through and I couldn't have been more wrong. Spent over an hour here there's so much history!!! Newspaper clippings, authentic letters from children to santa dating back to the 1930s, a little Christmas village set up - it was all so much more than I expected! Not to mention the Santa Claus statue, actual post office where you can write and send a letter to santa, and a really beautiful old church that feels magical walking through

What a wonderful stop for us! My granddaughter’s enjoyed experiencing Christmas in July! From writing letters to Santa, to the awesome candy store we loved it all!
