Incredible, awe inspiring mass with the most amazing music & sermons. Almost moved to Chicago just to be close to this church. Anytime we are close we visit. Friendly people too.

Beautiful church, the community is welcoming, the choir is talented, but it feels like the main attraction is the concert and not the Eucharist. Few people genuflect while entering pews or in front of the Blessed Sacrament. The congregation doesn't kneel during the consecration. They recently had two gay men say the homily on Fathers Day (also was Corpus Christi) to promote progressive agenda instead of focus on scripture. Mostly everyone receives the Eucharist and I’m assuming not many go to Reconciliation since it’s not emphasized and not held often. At a retreat, a priest gave the Eucharist to everyone even if they weren’t Catholic. I’ve attended RCIA meetings where leadership knowingly contradicted church teachings. They attempt to be inclusive of everyone, but seem to leave out reverence to the Lord. I think if one thing could make a difference it would be the treatment of the Eucharist.

It was a very nice venue. I've been there before for other events. This time it was a wedding reception. It's an old wharehouse, repurposed. You park, in the rear, enter in the rear, go tour floor in a freight elevator, there was a bar in the elevator. The hall was large, windows all around, with beautiful views of Chicago. A great time was had by all.
