I love this preserve. It’s always clean and well groomed. Deers are all around and seem to be friendly, but I wouldn’t get too close. My only complaint is this summer 2022 the park went from opening at 5a to 7a. Kinda late for ya morning risers. I can understand the time change in the fall/winter but spring and summer should definitely be opening earlier.

We had a family picnic there and it was great. Tables, garbage cans, coal pit and restrooms. Plenty of parking. My doggie enjoyed walking the trails. Would recommend to anyone

It is a nice large park with plenty of parking. The deer aren't very afraid of people and will sometimes get rather close which can make for some great photos

If ya like trees, you'll like this place. They also have grass, decent bathrooms, picnic tables, roofed shelters & homeless folk. There's a river/stream & some bridges. A very nice bicycle path goes through this preserve. You can buy weed right across the street. What's not to like?

You can get away with a small grill, but it usually cold cuts and sandwiches.
Hello, I'm pretty sure you need to purchase a permit. Please check the link below. Hope it helps. https://fpdcc.com/permits/picnics-event-permits/
