Excellent place to visit. The scenery is gorgeous and the folks who run this place couldn't be nicer. It was super easy to pick our own apples, and be sure to browse the little store. Lots of cute and delicious locally-made items.

My family and I (my son especially!) Loves North Star Ochards😁 the apples are big, sweet, and juicy with a happy medium between that gentle and crisp bite! We also love love love love their maple syrup!🥰 also the spiced apple syrup! Since going there we never buy store bought maple syrup we always go right back to North Star Orchards❤

We have visited North Star Orchards in the past. We like to go there every time we visit family in Maine. The apples are ready to pick. We usually ride the wagon, but it was not available when we were out there this fall. I enjoy their apple cider, also. They also have a gift shop.

This is a beautiful place to go apple picking. Staff was all super friendly. The store has alot of nice gifts to shop during the holiday season. Plus apples are yummy!

Hi Frank - Ginger Gold are usually ready towards the end of August or beginning of September. We think our crop is somewhat late this year because of the cold conditions this past spring, so my guess would be September! Thanks for checking with us - please check in again! Jennifer

I don't think anyone would make cider with only golden delicious. Mostly a mix of red apples, but Macintosh is common. I do not know specifically what North Star Orchard uses.
