GO!! Why haven't you been already? We only ordered the small fish and chips. The portion was more than enough, but we ate EVERY last bite because it was amazing! The fish was like little nuggets, tender and moist. Fries were great, and the coleslaw was perfect. My husband and I gave this place a 9.5 out of 10. The half star is for George, who took care of every table with superb service and a smile! The only thing that would have been better was if they had hush puppies, but we get it... it's Maine! Biggest regret though, is that we haven't eaten here before. You should definately go! Not fancy, more like a diner.

We stopped because the parking lot was full of cars. We were not disappointed. We shared a large fish (Haddock) basket, small side salad and onion rings. If we lived closer we would come back. George our server was excellent!

This place has the best seafood chowder I have ever had in my life. It was filled with whole oysters, lobsters, and scallops. I would highly recommend it. Plus the staff are super friendly.

Gone healthy! I’ve had scallops several times at Just Barbs and haven’t been disappointed. They’re sweet and the restaurant doesn’t rely on a strong batter to flavor them. Here I’m having them on a fresh salad with raspberry vinaigrette. Yum and yum!
