My first time trying Antioch Pizza Shop. Despite reading the reviews we opted to try it. Why I chose this place? It's nearby and It's my sister's Birthday. Pizza is her favorite food and every year for her birthday all she asks for is a pizza and being at, The Bay at Burlington nursing home she doesn't get to have delicious food and we're from Racine so to bring her a pizza from there it would've been cold by the time we get here. 'Twas a good experience and we will be ordering from there again the next time Sister is craving pizza. I had no problems ordering and picking up my order, the young gal was very polite, well spoken and well mannered on the phone AND while ringing up my order. Now on to the food, the double decker was quite large, bigger than what I expected. It's what some places call a stuffed pizza, I didn't know that, I thought it was going to be like a virgin crust how the places in Racine call it. But it was BIG, delicious, cheesy and with enough sausage and sauce. My mouth is salivating talking about it even though I'm full 😄 and it was well worth the money. But yeah, it was better than I expected upon reading the reviews. Ohh and my fav fries are the crinkle cut and they had them and they were perfectly salted. Just let me say, EVERYONE has their own preferences and their own expectations. I learned early on in my younger years after working for an authentic Italian pizzeria and at my parent's Mexican restaurant that you have to accept that everyone has their own taste preferences and what 5 other people might love there's 1 person who will hate your cooking and they have the right to, thats what makes us each individuals. So try things and places for yourself, dont just go by someone else's preferences and opinions. What they might dislike, you might love.

Very rude staff, on line ordering didn't work so when called to order, they wanted to charge me for the free cheese pizza! Ridiculous- just lost a customer!!

We stopped in for lunch here last week as it came recommend from some locals and we just moved to the area so we wanted to give it a try. Not only was the girl who rang us up very rude. We asked what pizzas they had, she was very annoyed to have to tell us, she rambled off like 4 choices and my husband and I each picked one, 2 slices. As we were leaving we saw the sign for 2 slices and a drink deal and asked her if it was a better deal to get the drink and she just goes "it's the same, did u want a drink" we just said no as she was already annoyed to have to help us in the first place which is a shame. Then we got home to eat and the slice of pepperoni I ordered must have been hours old and there was 1 piece of pepperoni on the whole slice. Wouldn't have been bad pizza if I ordered a cheese slice but unfortunately the overall lousy experience I wouldn't return or suggest to anyone to try which is a bummer because I was excited and hopeful to love it since we are in that area often. (Even tho the pizza isn't bad the lack of customer service and lack of toppings was a turn off)

I really wish there was a way to reply to the store's response, take note that they attack everybody that leaves a negative review. No need to lie to somebody who used to run restaurants and went to culinary school. They are clearly using pre-made ingredients yes they may chop some vegetables but that is it. I did not say we did not get the ingredients we ordered as I am being scolded for, I am merely saying they overcharged for what they offer Let's see how far this escalates and this post gets taken down... $30.00 for a frozen pre-made, thin crust pizza!? Seriously?!? This place uses pre-made crusts that they just slap toppings on and overcharge. We ordered their so-called supreme/ deluxe pizza which consisted of nothing but sausage, onions and mushrooms. Crust was flavorless and sauce was nothing but tomato sauce out of a can with no seasoning. If I wanted a frozen pizza I go to the store or order from a fast food chain. We will never be back. How can they justify this cost? Just to sprinkle a few toppings on top of a pre-made frozen food item!? We dined in on 4/7/22, they close at 8:00 but yet they shut down the soda fountain at 6:30 for cleaning, so if you bought a beverage you're out of luck.
