So I had them at 5 stars throughout most of the project. We had a couple of hiccups along the way but the project manager did show us the attention we paid for and was quite helpful. I did not give them the full 5 stars because of the plumbing (which in a bathroom is the most important). I will not go into the story behind it, because it is exhausting to explain frustrating situations, but in the end I decided to rate Star Builders on their work (which I still struggled between 4 and 5 stars because they really did show us they had our back) versus their sub-contractors. The project manager(s) were great. They brought our vision to life and it looks great. I would definitely call them again for another project but would not consider them if we needed to use the same plumbers.

The Star group is absolutely the best! Rob worked on design, Jason provided much needed education and guidance, and Lexie was ready to assist as our Project Manager. These folks are friendly, supportive, knowledgeable, and do what they say. Not long into our project, we changes our plans significantly. Instead of Star trying to talk us into staying with the original plan, they were encouraging and supportive; offering any and all help and assistance we may want/need. I can't express our pleasure and appreciation for the Star family. They are truly STARS and I whole heartedly recommend them for big or small projects. You won't regret it. Star Builders did two bathroom renovations, interior room painting, plus some extra work we had done on the house while they were here. Lexie was our project manager throughout the project (with some great help from Darin once he came on board later in the project). Lexie as project manager was awesome to work with — very responsive, helpful, understanding of any problems encountered along the way, and always very professional. We had some bumps along the way (as most projects do), but only with a sub and not with the Star Builders’ crew. I would give Star Builders five stars if we hadn’t experienced some problems with a sub. All the Star Builders crew who worked on our project were reliable, professional, and really good to work with: Lexie, Darin, Carlos, Octavio, and Angel (who did an awesome job with fixing a carpet issue and adding an attic ladder). We have two beautifully renovated bathrooms and freshly painted rooms (a shout out to Carlos and Octavio who did all the painting and demo on our project and went the extra mile to help us move things around as needed). Very happy with our choice of Star Builders.

We hired Star Builders to replace the kitchen countertop with quartz & backsplash with large subway tiles & a beautiful stainless steel sink. Carlos, Octavio & Angel did a professional job & exceptional work on our stairway with re-staining to a darker color from the honey oak. We then had them re-stain all the doors to match, they just turned out beautiful! It was pure pleasure to work with our project manager Lexie, she kept us informed with time lines & when product would be available. We had worked with Star Builders about 10 years ago & returned to them for this remodel as we were so pleased the first time.
