She truly cares about the horses and their well-being! She truly has a heart of gold and just an all around great person!!! A true godsend for us!! My 7 year old daughter had an amazing lesson with Claudia. Claudia is an excellent teacher. She was very in tune with my daughter's beginner skill level and advanced gently through each skill as she felt she could handle each step. Claudia encouraged her when she felt like she wasn't getting it and raised her confidence to keep trying. I also saw Claudia help another customer train their horse, and saw how well she read the horse's behavior. I highly recommend Lone Palm Stables and Claudia as a teacher.

Just recently they changed their policy to reflect a cancellation fee of $45 if cancelled the same day, even if your child is sick and may be experiencing CoVid like symptoms. I feel this is unfair as it is unavoidable and it encourages sick kids to take lessons when they should really be resting and staying away from the public. I spoke with the trainer Claudia and owner Emma and they would not make an exception. My daughter has been going to Lone Pam for over a year now and we’d hate to leave. The training is good quality and they have patience with her fears. She loves it there and looks forward to it every week.

The owner is very nice, however the trainer is very unprofess. Riding is supposed to be good therapy but the trainer is very critical/ borderline mean. People come there to learn to do what they love, not to be belittled and ridiculed. They are not professionals. Would not recommend as a good therapy place.
