Jake’s restaurant is a terrific blend of steakhouse and supper club. It’s definitely a little classier than the average, but you’ll fit in no matter what you wear. The decor is charming. The walls are rife with nostalgic pieces. The staff is helpful and attentive. The food is delicious. We loved the appetizers as well as the entrees. My one complaint is that the Tomohawk Ribeye was a little over what I requested. I asked for medium-rare and ended up with something closer to medium well. It tasted good, but it was a little dryer than I prefer. The desserts were quite good.

Went for the first time to remember my dad on his first birthday in heaven. He would have been pleased. Shared the porterhouse with my mom. Delicious. Perfect medium rare. The sides were fantastic as well. Perfect portions to share. Our server, Amy, was just great. We never felt rushed nor neglected. We will definitely be back. Money well spent!

I completely enjoyed a half duck served with a side of glaze and wonderful wild rice. The duck meat fell off the bone and tender and moist. This is one of last places you can order duck and it's special.
