I would not even rate one star. In fact I would rather -1,000,000. I have been calling for WEEKS attempting to get an appointment due to a notice I receiving stating we owe money that was paid April 14,2021. I've called literally every day, multiple times a day, and can't even get put on hold. Every single time I call in, it states, "Due to high call volume we cannot accept your call. Please try again another time." This goes for the appointment line as well as the regular IRS line. This is INCREDIBLY frustrating. On top of that, I sent them a letter via OVERNIGHT and recieved a phone call from USPIS stating the package arrived at their office OPEN and they were unsure if my items actually made it to IRS because they didn't know what started in the package and what actually arrived. It is absolutely CRITICAL that IRS look at their process for getting in touch with them as this is not acceptable for a GOVERNMENT AGENCY to send out notices of payments owed and have no secure way to get in contact with them. Absolutely abhorrent. I feel awful for the employees.

We made an appointment a few weeks back. The day before the appointment they called us to reschedule. They told us to come in any time Thursday or Friday and they would squeeze us in. We showed up Friday morning and the office has been closed both Thursday and Friday. We drove over an hour to be here and couldn’t get in touch with anyone once we got here. Now we have to make another appointment which will likely be a few weeks out. Ridiculous.

So I saw all the negative reviews and figured since my experience was pleasant I would share. Now the number one thing you should know is you should have an appointment. Otherwise they hand out tickets and stop handing out a certain amount. Anyway I had an appointment, came in was greeted by a friendly lady and a security guard. I took a seat, waited about two minutes and then met with a lady (I think her name was Carol) helped me figure out my situation within like 10 minutes probably. So overall pretty good IRS experience. :)

California often processes return quicker than the Feds. If ynumber of things will affect the processing time
Doubtful as the rack with the forms is not that big. They directed me to their website to download the form they didn't have.
Not sure if they are but they are probably online. That's what they had me do when they were out of one I needed.

I have a fraud case against a propery manager who is taking cash from renters after stating im pay by certified check she evicted me. On 7/16/17 I was told to call D.A office and spoke to invesigator and told them she was also had a civil case against her. not heard from DA office Pls help
