I stayed at Carthage Gap Campground for 4 nights (June 2021). When I arrived with my trailer the owner (male) was very hostel and controversial when I stated that I was to be placed in a pull through site which was what I reserved. He called me a liar and that I was never told that and wanted to refuse me a camp site and return my deposit. He then changed his mind and took my cash. The campground roads are lined with marker posts about every 10 feet on both sides of the narrow roads and large rocks on every corner which makes navigating through very difficult not to rub a post or damage a wheel on a rock. It’s a nice campground, but the owner is very difficult to deal with.

Nicest campground we have been too! Everyone so friendly yet COVID aware. Nice big camp sites. We used one of their pull through sites for our 38foot camper. No issues at all. Felt very safe. Grounds nicely maintained. Even had an ice cream truck come around both nights which was fun. Recommended without reservation.
