The food is good, but customer service need some work, drive thru takes to long

So my husband and I decided to order lunch from Zachary's in St. Pauls NC today. Unfortunately after calling a few times I was unable to order because I couldn't get anyone to answer. Although they did have a answering machine so I left a message stating that I wanted to order but couldn't get through and did not know how they were able to keep customers never asking the phone, as this wasn't the first time this has happened. Even though the website stated they were open. Shortly after I received 2 texts messages from the owner of the restaurant. I included those messages in the post. I was very token back as I am also a manager of a restaurant for 24 years and would never speak to any of my customers in this matter. He is very unprofessional and if wanted to text my personal phone number , he should have been more apologetic not knowing anything about me or what I do. I will never give my hard earned money to this establishment again. And I will let everyone I come across know how he treats his guests. I have been a customer for 20+ years and don't understand the disrespect when all we wanted was to order food and put money in his pocket. Never again! If it could be zero stars it would be!

Fresh, great tasting Greek/Italian food, subs and burgers.. The pizza is the best I've ever eaten!! Crust is crisp on the outside and soft in the middle; the sauce tastes just right as it accompanies the other toppings but doesn't overpower them. I would suggest the Hawaiian or a pepperoni, bacon & mushroom pizza.. 5☆

Been there twice & both times we had a blast. It's what some might call a humble/quiet/low key set up, but it's clean & well staffed. The Waitresses were very nice both times & the food has been excellent. I highly recommend their "Stromboli " wow, my Brother loved their Chicken Wings, & Pizza & those who came along, loved every bite of what they had ordered too. 👍🤗👍 So we give it, our 2 thumbs up! My advise to the Owner, just add a little soft, but happy music in the background ... no biggie! THANK YOU ALL FOR WELCOMING OUR FAMILY CREW & FOR TREATING US TO DELICIOUS FOOD, THANK TO THE STAFF & COOKS ... YEAH TO YOU ALL!!!
