We live really close to highway and the noise really bothered us until we installed the Indow window sound proofing inserts. Very good communication. A bit slow manufacturing process (14 weeks) but the quality is really good. Night and day difference after we installed the inserts. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to soundproof their windows. Also shout out to their sales person Brian. Very good service. Answered all my questions on time. Followed up on the whole process. Not pushy at all. Very pleasant to deal with. (Somebody should make sure he gets a big bonus for his work)

Purchased Indow under the guise they were noise reduction inserts as promised by the Seller. Unfortunately I was hugely mistaken. They serve no value and reduce no noise. Please do not make the same mistake as me by purchasing inserts from this company. They advertise them as noise reduction inserts but they’re just for energy efficiency.

I've had indow acoustic inserts almost 6 years now in my bedroom and I still regularly appreciate the sound isolation they provide. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again if needed. There was prolonged police activity in my neighborhood last night and I thought the sirens were located to the South, turns out, they were to the North. My Indows blocked enough of the sound that it traveled around my house and came in though my south facing siding glass door and caused me to misidentify the location of the sirens. It would have been a much less bearable hour without them. Thanks!

Their measuring system leaves nothing to be desired. After entering my first set of measurements their system denied those measurements. After 10 more attempts and manipulating those measuements each time by 1/16th of an inch, the system still wouldn't accept. I emailed them telling them I had enough and wasn't going to order and I miracuously get an email saying my measurements were accepted. They offer laser tools to take measurements, but never offered to send me one even after they knew I was having issues with their system. If your windows are even a little off square, you will have the same issues. Decided to make my own which will cost less than half the price of theirs. I build decks for a living, so I know my way around with a tape measure.

Indow window inserts are held in place with our patented Compression Tube. We laser measure every window down to the 1/32" so it fits exactly to your window frame. Indow window inserts do not require any mounting hardware so they are non-damaging to your original windows.

How do I remove and install the inserts? How difficult is it?

Indow inserts are removed by pulling the small tab and unhooking the safety chain (if present). The inserts are installed by lining each corner up with the window frame and pressing it into place - it really is that simple. Tip: We generally try to put the bottom corners in first to align the Indow, and then the top corners followed by the top and sides. If the window is very large, we recommend having two people for installation or removal. You can also choose to split up the window into smaller sections of inserts if you would like to make it even easier to handle.
