Well the staff are very friendly , and maintenance personnel are top notch grounds well taken care of . No problems with the location close to malls , shopping center post office and schools . Lived here for 3 years. Very affordable, moving in was easy. Maintenance did a great job every time they were called. It was pretty clean compared to other apartment complexes. Neighbors were nice, not loud. Lived close to the dog park and it was pleasant. The staff at the front office are awesome and very helpful. They have a package room so your delivery packages are safe. They invite food trucks I believe monthly, they always organize events. There is plenty of parking and never had an issue with it. Would 100% live there again. Also super close to the I-95 service and sandwiched between Walmart and Food Lion so there are stores available very close by after a long day of work. I think the staff at the front desk office made it 5 stars though. Awesome people.

Moving in was fine, and we were excited. But that waned quickly. We found that the gates only worked some of the time and they were easy for solicitors and everyone else to bypass. There was only one dumpster on the property, and since it was a compactor without instructions it was often inoperable due to misuse and trash piled around it, a health hazard. Pet owners left droppings all over the walking trails, to the point where we started walking in the parking lots instead; it was a better bet. The message board was rampant with postings from residents missing packages, either from their front door or the package room. Complaints to the manager seemed to go unanswered. We would not choose to renew a lease here. And in fact we did not.

My husband and I lived here for two and a half years. A few months after moving here, we rescued a dog. We all had a lovely, peaceful time here. While our two bedroom unit was spacious and comfortable for us, the real stars of Astoria are the staff and management. The office was always friendly and welcoming, and the maintenance team responded promptly and efficiently. We enjoyed the monthly community events and had little to no problem during our stay. As long as you are a considerate neighbor who contributes to the cleanliness and peace of the complex, we're confident that you will have a great experience here. If this a convenient location for you, we highly recommend calling Astoria your next home! Edit: This is an honest review from our experience. We recently moved out, all accounts have been completed, and have nothing to gain from posting a review.
