The food was great and inexpensive. I had a ribeye which was cooked perfectly and very tender. My husband had hamburger steak which had great flavor and my brother had buffet which had a large selection of food that was hot and delicious.

Southern Sizzler was a nice mom n pop stop. The steak special was great. Staff was very nice and even had good conversation. My wife and I were passing through but will definitely stop in again.

I've been going to this place for 15+ years. Corona really took a toll on them. The buffet food is no where near as good as it was. Other than the salad bar and 3 desserts, it's mostly all fried foods and the general sides you'd see at a small buffet, except french fries. Golden Corral would be a better option for variety. I ordered the medium rare steak, and it looked an unnatural neon red in the center. The only positives are the friendly (but very understaffed) staff and the low price for the buffet. I'd go back again, but hoping they can recover from covid back to their former glory.

Me and my husband's Thursday night dinner date place!! We love their 2 for $25 steak deal (2 steaks both with fries or baked potato and salad/desert bar)...so good!! The cook is WONDERFUL! So friendly and always greets us when he sees us come in. When he isn't too busy he even comes over and checks on everything at our table. He cooks the BEST steak (tender, juicy and flavorful) we have ever ate and it is ALWAYS cooked exactly how we ask!!! Our waitress is great also, she makes sure our cups stay filled and always ask if we want a to go cup. Even when it is busy she is always very prompt on taking care of our needs. If we could give them 10 stars we would!!!! You have to try Southern Sizzler!!!!!!! Their consistently great food and great customer service keeps us going back time after time.
